Assistant Professor of Chemistry
Stony Brook University, United States
I am currently and assistant profeesor in the department of of Radiology at Stony Brook Renaissance School of Medicine and Stony Brook Cancer Center.
My research interests and experiences are at the interface of chemistry, biology, and Medicine. The ultimate goal is to develop new positron emission tomography (PET) diagnostic imaging agents and theranostics for radionuclide therapy. I am developing novel PET imaging agents as biomarkers for detecting and visualizing molecular signatures implicated in cancer and disorders of the central nervous system (CNS).
A considerable effortof my research has been dedicated to the development, validation, and clinical translation of PET probes based theranostics for imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy.
