Sefali Patel attended Michigan State University for medical school and is a general surgery resident at Allegheny Health Network. Beyond her clinical responsibilities she remains deeply committed to research focusing on oncolytic viral therapies and T cell immunotherapies. Looking toward the future, she envisions herself as a future surgical oncologist that continues to be engaged in research endeavors focused on advancing cancer treatment modalities. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling and drawing.
