Dr. Beth Helmink is an Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She earned her medical and doctoral degrees (Immunology) from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She completed residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center followed by a three-year fellowship in surgical oncology at MD Anderson. Upon completion of training, she was a member of the surgical faculty at Washington University School of Medicine for two years before transferring back to MD Anderson. Her clinical practice and clinical/translational research interests focus on the treatment of patients with peritoneal malignancy.
